Prom Spot - Your Prom Survival Kit

Not to go all Girl Scouts on you, but you need to be prepared on the Big Night! Here's a checklist of survival kit ingredients, so you can sail through the night glitch-free:

Blotting papers: It's your night to shine, but, um…not be shiny.

Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover: Of course your manners are impeccable -- but this Tide pen takes out the chocolate syrup that dripped when your date was feeding you brownie a la mode.

OTC pain relievers: Warning: Loud music and a tight updo may cause a tension headache.

Breath mints: You don't want to be self-conscious when you're making out.

Band-Aids: Three words: High Heels = Blisters.

An emery board: Because there is nothing more distracting than the jagged edge of a broken fingernail. Period.

A camera: Oh, snap! Make some memories.

A mirrored compact: Bring it in case the ladies' room is a mob scene, or for touch-ups in the limo. Alternative: Smile and tilt your silver knife at dinner so you can at least check your teeth.

Bobby pins: Control stray strands with pins, in case your hairstylist didn't use an entire can of hair spray and you start head-banging on the dance floor.

Cotton swabs: These are great emergency makeup tools (either to get more on or rub a little off).

Safety pins: Don't let wardrobe malfunctions happen to you.

Cash and/or card: Taxi, snacks…you just never know.

Your cell phone: Like you'd really leave home without it.

Your keys: Obvi! You have to go home eventually!

Prom tickets: No explanation needed!
